I live in another country and I cannot book an appointment due to time zone difference. What can I do?

What is the online medium for Counseling?

The main online platform we use is WhatsApp. You can either request an audio-only session or a video session.

I cannot use WhatsApp in my country/region. What can I do?

You can contact us through Botim (+94 71 1972235) to arrange an appointment. We will try our best to accommodate your request.

I want to book an appointment with a Psychiatrist. Do I have to go through a Counselor before?

While it’s not mandatory to consult a counselor beforehand, we strongly recommend scheduling an appointment with one first. The counselor can assess your situation and determine if medication is necessary. If so, they will send a detailed report directly to the psychiatrist, giving them a clearer understanding of your needs. Since psychiatrist appointments are limited to 30 minutes, having the counselor provide a brief note beforehand helps ensure a more efficient and focused session.

Can I get a prescription online?

Yes, the psychiatrist can send you a signed prescription with their official seal via WhatsApp. However, depending on your location, you may need to verify the validity of the prescription beforehand. In Sri Lanka, you can directly use this prescription at a pharmacy. In other countries, you may need to consult your personal doctor to have them issue a valid prescription based on our recommendation. Always ensure you follow local rules and regulations regarding medication access.

What payment options do I have?

You can do a bank transfer (online or in-person) to our bank account. We also accept PayPal payments in case you cannot make the online transfer (specially if you are abroad). Please contact us for PayPal details.

Can I pay after the session?

Unfortunately, no. Due to previous experiences, we require payment to be made before the appointment is confirmed.
